This page shows the tunes we are currently playing at the Irish session on Tuesday at 8.15pm.     As new tunes are taught, new sets are added.  Recordings, sheet music and other aids to learning are available on the A-Z Tunes Resource page.

Sessions are for playing tunes.  Everyone is muted except the leader, allowing melody players to play confidently without fear of putting another group member off track.  Guitarists, piano players and percussionists get the chance to experiment with different chords and styles.   This is a great opportunity to play Irish tunes with an experienced fiddle player and Irish Ceili band, The Perfect Cure.

Access to the Tune Recordings resource is via your username and password.  A fee of 50 provides full access for a year to include 5 weeks of lessons.   Thereafter, lessons are 10 a week - only pay in weeks you attend.

To find out the tunes we will be covering in the "classes" click on the links on the left under "Dates Times and Tunes for Classes" and scroll down for Tuesday 7pm Irish class.

Reportedly the top 20 most played session tunes which we include in our session at 8.15pm on Tuesdays.  Play along with the Perfect Cure ceili band who you will meet at the sessions.

In the session choose the tune or tune set you would like to play. Recordings and visual aids are on the A-Z index so readers can join in straight away, or try to learn as you go by playing along as this is the best way to remember a tune.  Join a class to learn more tunes and develop rhythm and phrasing.
